I have the same problem, but I'm at around 1700k-2100k. I just swapped IM gasket, Tb gasket, swapped throttle bodies and FITV's, replaced my IACV, twice, replaced my ECT sensor, and flushed and replaced and bled my radiator and coolant hoses and still can't find the problem. I'm just gonna swap a b20 next week into it. F.uck idle and surge problems

if you plug the hole inside the throttle body completely, your car should stall out and die. so if its still idling, then you DO have a vacuum leak somewhere.

if you put you hand in there and then it idles down check around if there is a air blocker for your car. I worked on another car and it had that same problem then we called a couple of people and they told us there was suppose to be something in there like a screen or sponge looking thing so that it would block the air.

take a cigarrette or somethin that makes smoke and move it about the vaccum lines when you see the smoke gettin sucked in there is your leak.

its a great tool to help find leaks

if you block the hole int the throttle body and it idles correctly then useally the fitv is bad, it under the throttle body take it off and try to clean it it get corroded inside.
