Default fuel rail question

i was recently made a trade and got a brand new aem fuel rail for a 90-93 honda accord. i have a 97 Acura CL F22B1 i was told the fuel rail wont fit the 94-97 accord motor. i was wondering if this was true and if it is why????
thanx

if I'm not mistaken, I believe the mounting holes are different and I think the fuel line enters in on the opposite side of the rail. You could probably fix that by maybe redrilling the mounting holes and getting a longer fuel line. But thats just speculation, you will want to look further into it.

you can check majestic honda's parts catalog and see how good the pictures are. or if you have the time, take a trip to a junk yard and see if you can take some pictures of your own, that would probably be your best bet.

I think another problem might be that the injector spacing is different.

You should take the AEM fuel rail that you have and line it up next to your stock rail on your car. Go out and see if there are any differences for yourself rather than relying on what someone told you. And if it won't work sell it.

here is a couple for comparison.

93 Accord EX (F22A6)

94 Accord EX (F22B1)

Best bet would probably do some searching for pictures of engine bays or as someone else had stated to go to a junkyard and take a look for yourself.
