i got a great deal on a 01 civic lx. the owner says it sat for about a yr, driver door was hit pretty hard and no parts were available until recently. Car has 7000 miles on it. He said he bot it from auction cheap.

I was wondering what i would need to look out for while checking the car out. I started it and it sounded really good.

juss f/y/i, in 2k1, i was offered 13.7k for a brand new civic coupe lx at scott robinson honda

 

the reason is because you say that the guy bought it from the aution, most of the cars that go there, are salvaged. Do you want a car which has been salvaged ?

Salvaged meaning, in other words the car has been totalled.
Salvaged cars sell for a lot less than clear title cars, just because they're salvaged.
