ok im wanting to buy a wrecked 05 crv, it has the k24 motor, but is it the right motor? cuz i have a k20 head and k20 trans, so will this crv be the ticket? i dont no much about the k-seires but really into them now, thanks

 

im asking this cuz like the rsx non type s is diff from the rsx type s so im wondering if this k24 motor is the same as any k24 motor and doesnt make lesser hp thanks guys

EDIT ok i just found out they have 160hp, but if i throw on the type s head and tranny will it be at 200hp? why are the acura tsx have more hp?

 

the K24 from a CRV is not the same as a K24 from a TSX... everything is different from the rods to the pistons to the head gasket! here are number so you can ponder:
