Default bottle neck removal for Type ONe Catback

I was wondering what you guys did in addition to removing the bottleneck from the b-pipe and adding a new 2.5 inch flange onto it? Do I have to cut off the flared flange from the rear section too??? I'm thinking that I have to remove the flange from the rear section and put a flat flange on it. I'm not really sure though. The guy at the muffler shop said that he would need to hack up the pipe pretty good. Any suggestions? thanks for the help

Hack it up.

Who needs bling bling when you can remove bottlenecks?
