What the hell happened to my car wont pass 3500 rpm

Ok so I was driving my crx fine and suddenly the engine light went on and my car wouldn't pass 3500 rpm WTF!!!!
I checked the engine and see what was wrong in there Everything looked fine until I got electrecuted by my distributor Apparently there was a crack in the cap and it was shooting of sparks So i changed the cap and the rotor, but it still does the same thing I trieed to reset the ecu, but nope didn't work I checked the ecu(btw i have an ob0 and a hondata s100) and it was blinking 4 times so i went to Hondata's website and checked and it says that its a code for a crankshaft position sensor Ok so how do i change a crankshaft position sensor or do i just need to replace my distributor?? Thanks in advance for all the help
BTW this is the cars stats:
ls vtec
type r head, valve tran, intake manifold, type r header
rc 310 injectors, str fuel rail, b&m adjustable fuel regulator, str cam gears, ls block, type r pistons
jdm gsr cable tranny w/ stock lsd
delete cat, 3" exhaust,
tuned w hondata

Your distributer was shooting sparks 
It does sound like your ECU is in limp mode. When you ask how much does it cost to fix, it really depends on who you take it to.
You might be able to search for other people who have had the problem, they may have been able to fix the problem without having to take it to a mechanic.
Try keywords like Limp Mode in both recent and archived sections of the EF forum

I kan bet dat ur dizzy iz bad! Juzt change ur dizzy dat iz da problem! The reason i say that iz bkuz ur crank angle sensor iz inside da dizzy!! Pluz dat haz happened 2 me also!!

I would ask a friend that has a OBD-0 dizzy to let you try it on your car, to see if thats the problem. By the way if it is the dizzy i have 2 forsale.

mine was doing the same thing it wouldn't Rev over 3500 RPM i changed the Distributor but didnt fix the problem then i changed the TPS sensor and it worked. So try and change that and see if that's the problem.

Ok so i put in a new dizzy and it worked!!!!!!................for 5 min wtf I drove the car and then hit vtec and when i just idled the car it suddenly stopped The cel is gone and my hondata isnt throwing any codes I put new plugs just to see if it would work nope Now it wont even start anymore It just cranks but wont turn over Man this car is starting to annoy me Any ideas guys??

In the distributor there is a rotor and the rotor is held in by a screw.
Check if the rotor is screwed.
