Default Questtion about M/C lines

I am going to be running NSX calipers and 11.1" rotors and want to install a 1" master cylinder and booster in my 93 SI

I read a while back that a 99 and up Integra LS M/C with ABS will work in my car with out cutting or flaring any lines but cannot find any thing now to back that up

Does any one know if this is correct??

i recently went through this on my 94 CX.i wanted a 1" M/C with as little work as possible.i ended up getting a MC from a 90-91 Civic EX 4-door,which is 15/16".it bolts to your stock booster and your lines fit with no mods.
this made for a MAJOR improvement in pedal feel over the stock 13/16" MC.all the info i found from people going from 15/16" to 1" sadi there wasn't any noticeable difference,so it's hard to say if it's worth the extra effort for the 1" version.

i couldn't find any 1" options that didn't require line rerouting and also swapping to the matching booster.to the best of my knowledge, all 94-01 Integra MCs will require routing one line around to the passenger side and reflaring it for a different size fitting,as well as requiring you to get the matching Integra booster since the mounting stud pattern is different.

Ok that helps alot, I really didnt want to modify my lines (for sake of going back to stock at a later date) But I guess it is not that big of a deal.

Since I am going to a much bigger caliper I think I will try to go with the 1" since thats what most people go with for this setup and I can get the m/c and booster for fairly cheap.

Integra RS 15/16th is a direct bolt on..

And I believe, that RSX 1" MC's are a direct bolt on to EG's, but dont quote me on that. I think some of the RCrewRacing cars are running that setup.

the 15/16 is a direct bolt on. the lines are set up different on the 1". on the 15/16 they are both on the driver side of the MC, but on the 1" the line closest to the front of the vehicle is on the driver side but the rear line of the 2 is on the pass. side of the MC. this requires you to either buy a new line from your local dealer (couldnt find the part number, but i believe it is a 98 up rs integra that you need the line from) or you can try to cut, bend, flare your stock line and hope it doesnt kink or anything, or you can buy a length from any autoparts store and make the whole thing yourself.

Hmm that is interesting about the RSX M/C I will have t look into that although I do not know if it would be cost effective compared to replacing or bending/re flareing a line.

My friend has a jdm 96 ITR m/c and booster I may pick up and make work.

if I want to go back to stock I will just deal with it down the road lol
