hey all,
I've been searching all the forums looking for a good write up on POLISHING up gsr blades, but managed to come up with nothing. my blades are prety minty, but all four have a few marks that only a picky *** person like myself can see, and they bother the hell out of me. my set was redone about a year ago, and I think they were only painted, because it seems there's dust under the clear coat and its just eating everything up. so I just want to complete strip the paint and POLISH them to their max potention.
so if anyones got a good write up please post it up, it would be deeply appriciated.
thanx

To the OP. Once you strip all the paint/clear off that is on the wheels and you are basicly @ bare metal. Once you polish them, they aren't going to last long "shiny". Since you are stripping the clear and just polishing bare metal with no protection besides for the resedue from the wax/polish. It gets foggy/hazy REAL fast. If your not lazy, you would probably end up polishing them real nice every 2-3 months with in-between clean ups.
If you want it done right, i suggest taking it to keystone or a wheel specialist. They will cut your wheel and polish it. Then they add like i swear 1mm of clear coat lol.
They polish will last just like it was fresh from the honda dealer, and it will be real real shiny and nice.
(Cut i mean, CnC machine off a VERY VERY small amount of metal around the wheel. Making it completely FRESH)
