Default bov o-ring size question for ebay FMIC kit...I know some of you have them...

yeah, I know it's a cheap ebay FMIC kit but I'm just getting the car put together to sell so I dont care lol.

I got the kit on the car and got the greddy knock-off attached at the bov flange witht the gasket on but the bolts are tightened completely and the flange still rotates. I assume the little indented ridge is where an o-ring should go which will take up the slack but there was none in the kit and I really dont want to tug the entire pipe with me to lowes to test fit o-rings all afternoon until I get one that fits decent.

anyone else had this problem??

oh yeah, here's the kit I bought.

actually I was gonna take the bov flange gasket and cut it down to the size of the round inner part so that when I tighten it down it will draw in the outer threaded portion farther up so it might seal completely.

Go to a hardware store and find an o-ring that fit.

Why not just take the BOV with you or even the pipe.I dont understand you want a boosted car but taking the pipe with you to make sure you get the correct size is too much trouble?
