i'm experiencing the following with the clutch cable disconnected from the release arm...
y1 tranny, resurfaced act flywheel with .010" taken off, exedy oem replacement clutch.

i installed a new exedy oem replacement clutch and when i reinstalled the tranny there was hardly any freeplay when pulling the release arm up by hand. definately less than 1/4"

800 miles later i have 1" of freeplay at the release arm.

i know adjusting the clutch cable will take up the slack but i'd like to know what's happening with the clutch and or pressure plate.
any thoughts??
