Do you have any smoke coming out of the car? Make sure that you haven't blown a Headgasket. That could cause a cylinder to go out....

Rich how? You can smell gasoline?

Make sure one of your injectors isn't flooding a cylinder. That could do it.

Well then, make sure your old gas didn't gum up an injector.

Subie uses uneven headers? Wouldnt that cause uneven cylinder wear because of the different backpressures?

Translation: "Yes, you could sound like a Subaru if you were able to find a way to place unequal-length headers onto your car."

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by ~sp33~ &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Subie uses uneven headers? Wouldnt that cause uneven cylinder wear because of the different backpressures?</TD></TR></TABLE>

Yes, Subaru uses an unequal-length header design. It's purpose is solely because of the boxer motor's eccentricities. Header length does not contribute to uneven cylinder wear on a Boxer. It actually promotes a smoother power-band and a broader TQ range.
