Damn signal and hazard
Don't know what to do as I spent the whole day trying to see what happened to the lights.
They were working when I parked to run into a store, then when I went to take a turn, I noticed that my Right signal is gone, and hazards dont work.
Check fuses ( hazard keeps popping as soon as I hit the button)
All bulbs are good as they turn on with head lights, no fast blinking, when driving or turning.
Now the wierd crap....
Hitting Left works fine, but when I hit Right, the dash blinks and shows a crazy power draw (dimms). I can hear the relay click, but no green arrow.
Also noticed that the right side of car's lights blink very very lightly. So the only way you'll know I'm signaling is in a pitch black road
Anyone ever have this happen to them.
Help a fool out

Sounds like the power is shorting to ground on the right side, possibly on the right side. Are you sure that the blinking filaments on the right side are working since your right side blinker is out? Have you recently been in an accident or hit anything? Any recent electrical installs under the dash, etc? What year is your integra? There is also the possibility that the control module that blinkers run through is fried. This control module is attached to the back side of the under dash fuse box.
Thanks for the help,
my car is a 97, that was smacked in the front, but that was a long time ago...humm.
I just find it weird how its just effecting one side. I dont think the two sides are actually independent when to to wiring at least.
Apart from that, nothing has been done to the car.
I thought of the "intergrated control unit before, but every other job that it should be doing is being done like wipers, defogger, door switch, oil pressure, signal (yah i know lol) and other poos.
Does this unit has clips or screws holding it down??
Either way, can't get to it with work and school.
Guess I'll be using hand-signals for a while...
Anyone else would like to share some ideas before I catch a ticket lol

yup, it was a lil messed up, openned it up, and it seemed fine, no burns, just warped by heat...humm
Replaced it the same part...same symptoms...
Just switched all the bulbs around to see if I can get a different result...no dice...
I hope to get this fixed so that I can report this here, as all I see searching is a lot of deadend threads with no "fix". Sounds like all the tech threads don't you think.
Does a civic EG Hazard plug on to a teg one??? So that I can check???
Hard to find a teg around here...so many God damn EGs though...no wonder I dropped it....

Can some one out there,
Run out to their car...
Pull out the hazard fuse under the hood (10a)
And lightly press the hazard button and see if the clicker/flasher relay clicks??
might have to keep one hand on it to feel it click...
I don't think it should click at all as my fuse is popped and keeps popping, but it does click anyway...
Please let me know, I'm starting to think my damn switch is shorting my right set of signals.
Thanks ahead of time
