Squealing noise while turning... Help please.
Whenever i turn, whether it is slow or fast, I hear this squealing noise... almost like a cat meowing... I took my car to midas cuz i had no idea what it was, i thought it may be the piston in the caliper getting stuck. I replaced the calipers, and it still makes the sound. The more i listen to it, it sounds like its in the steering column somewhere. Does anyone know what's going on?
And sometimes when i turn hard, I can almost feel something catching. Kinda like the power steering goes on and off, or something is catching on and off.

is your car lowered? I had the same problem. took forever to figure it out but I found it to be the ball joints (lower). just cut a little hole in the ball joint boot (just big enough to fit the wd40 nozzle in to it) and spray some wd40 or silicone lube in to it. this happends on better quality ball joints that dont have a grease fitting, but are lubricated with a thin plastic liner that goes dry.
nah man its not lowered at all. totally stock suspension. I actually got the ball joints replaced about a year ago too. I can hear the sound in the steering column though... any other ideas?
