ive been reading on here because a friend wants to ditch his d17, all im seeing is k20 swaps, is that the only easy swap for this body? i dont really know too much about it, ive only worked w/ EGs and the like. he doesnt really wish to dish out the money for a K swap thats ungodly expensive. ive looked and havent been able to find any info on a non K swap into this body. any information you guys could give me would help alot.

 

The only feasible option is the K-series, as it's the only engine supported (through aftermarket parts). The B-series swap has only been recorded to be done twice, ever, as it requires a 2001 Civic chassis and a 2001 Integra Type-R motor just to be legal. That, and the engine requires a ton of custom parts to even run.
