Starter Questions, need opinions, and help
Alright so im 18 and just bought my first car
Happens to be an 03 Acura rsx :] Black
Ive had my eye on it
Anyway, Ive been looking for a body kit
and Ive seen a few but if anyone can guide me and show me some that would be great
also I do want rims, and im leaning either towards gold, or black w/chrome lip
any one got pics of gold rims on a black rsx? I wanna see what thatll look like
and if anyone wants to throw me some more mods to the vehicle thatll be helpful.
Thanks!

Make it look like this! I have never seen this concept car for the RSX A-Spec but I found it and thought you might like to see it! Maybe not as far as to go with the fender flares but I really think that the car looks gorgeous!

The A-Spec body kit in my opinion is the only body kit that looks good on the RSX. For rims some ppl feel that blk on blk looks tacky but I think it looks good. Also gold would look good too. Those are both good choices.
your young so i will just tell you know................ 99.99% of body kits a ricer as hell. i think you should look into the A-spec or type-R lip kit its going to be the best quality imo. oh and stay away from Ebay parts i know you have already been looking at them. if you wanna look at some nice parts check out jhpusa.com or wotm.com they are good sites to order from.
also is this a base RSX or the type-s?

Yea its a base model
and to the guy who said the black with chrome
I like it but its not that its tacky but that its everywhere I want mine to look diverse, but good

Don't bother getting body kit for your car, majority (99.9%) of the time it ends up making your car look worse, A-spec isn't an eyesore although. Go for bronze rims to set yourself apart from the other drivers, bronze on black would look clean imo. Black/black /w crome lip is very unoriginal so just forget that idea all together. Congrats on the first car btw and enjoy spending all your money on it haha.

Seriously?? Do you know how many people do black/bronze? It is gettin to be played out also, I mean you are right, it does look clean as hell, but there are alot of people doin that now.

check out this website

it has tons of pictures of all of the different body kits for the rsx.
I would advise a lip kit for daily driving becuase a fiberglass bodykit will prob. end up getting ripped to shreds, esp. if you lower the car. I personally like the 05+ mugen lip kit the most, but you would have to convert the front end of your car for that. For the 02-04 I would check out the cwest lip kit and then the type r.
Before you make any modifications to your car you should really sit down, think about what you want to do with the car, and then figure out how much money you are willing to throw into a bottomless hole - modifying your car is basically the same concept becuase more than likely your tastes will change, you'll never be able to get half of what you put into the car out again, and unless you actually race/show your car it's not going to matter in a few years when you decide you want a house/real life.
That being said I love modifying my cars, and if you truly enjoy it then go for it. take your time and don't rush into any mods, really check them out and talk to others who have the same setup to find out what kind of experience they have had. Understanding what you ultimately want to accomplish with your car before you start will save you a lot of money.
Good Luck, and gold on black looks awesome but it's not original.
