Default HKS hi-power exhaust

Ok so I have an 05' rsx type-s, about a year ago my friend sold his 04' rsx and gave me his exhaust for free. Unfortunatly the HKS didn't fix properly on my car and the tip left serious burn marks on my bumper. Since then I have taken it off until I found a valid solution. What solutions are there to this problem? I obviously don't want to cut my bumper thats ghetto rice, but is cutting the hangers an option? Also is there such thing as a CF cover for the area on the bumper surrounding the exhaust tip? (I've seen them for evo's but not rsx's)

You could get the Evo or the STI CF cover and then cut your bumper to fit that. Is it messing up the exhaust because the muffler tip isn't coming out as far? Pics help...

you could purchase extended rubber hangers from your local autoparts store. It would but the exhaust tends to move around more.

If you are trying to avoid damage to your car then sell the used Hi Power and get the one made for your car man. That should solve all fitment issues and you would be a lot happier not having to dice your bumper up for an exhaust

Yeah the exhaust is obnoxiously loud. The tip is really big too which is what caused me all my problems.

Thanks for the idea's on my problem guys but for now i'm just going to leave it off so it doesn't cause me anymore hassle, I didn't pay any $ for it anyway so i'm not devestated. Less reason for the pigs to pull me over anyway I suppose haha
