hi, i just bought a em1 2000 civic si recently. the car currently has corbeau seats in them. i'm looking to buy a pair or recaro type r seats the ones from the dc2 and ek. i was wondering if the rails that are currently used for the corbeau seats will work for for the recaro's.

if not what rails do i need to use, and where do i purchase these?

i highly doubt the corbeau seat rails will work but... my guess would be use ur stock civic seat rails on the recaros... 3 of the bolts line up fine an one has to be opened up like 1/8" to get the 4th bolt to fit.. thats what my friend had to do to get his itr recaros in his 95 civic coupe..

 

I was told that if you have 96-00 civic you have to buy the ctr seats with rails to get it to work, and that the stock civic rails do not work.

EK9 rails would be flawless with any Recaro. Have to move the drivers seatbelt light line from the right side to the left one (minor mod).

I dont think your corbeau rails will fit. Your stock rails will def. NOT fit. You either need dc2/eg rails which one hole has to be enlarged, or buy rails for an ek

I have recaros in my em1 with ek sliders

hopefully i can find a pair of seats that will allready have the rails cause those things seem to be pretty expensive.
