Default Best CAT-BACK exhaust for ITR??

I know that this is a very vast subject but im in the the middle of nowhere about it!

Which is the best cat-back for ITR ? Most say Mugen, but it is very expensive! Any other good stuff except Mugen?

And one last thing? What is aluminized steel ? is it like stainless steel or better?

Thanks guys for your help!

not gonna touch the cat back question, there have been countless threads in the last week about that

Aluminized steel is worse than stainless steel, but cheaper.

If you want the best, go custom. It is cheap, and a lot better than most on the market. I am going to be getting a custom 2.5" catback, mandrel bent with 2 resonators, and a magnaflow cannister.

Ask Dave at SMS. Or make your own custom setup. Just depends how much you want to spend...

Running low buget ? Go to the muffler shop have them to custom. If you want some decent quality then consider Mugen , Spoon , T.1R. or Fujitsubo.

Go fig. Your 6.25" tip and your 2" piping. More backpressure = more power huh?

Then everybody can stop guessing.
George, I dug this dyno chart up from the Great Header Test results... 2.5" SMSP Magnaflow vs. stock... What's your take on the results?

well....i believe everyone has been in this kind of "trouble"...i used to have a 5zigen, and i love it alot cuz first- it has really nice sound, after i have mugen, i really miss the sound.. second- if just opinion of catback, as i know, they don't really have big different with the power and 5zigen is pretty good for me. third- the style how it looks was perfect for me, not too crazy, and feels like silent killer. So here are the ideas of wat you want.
1.sound 2.power 3.look

If my memory serves my right the comparison was a

stock manifold, 2-1/4" Carsound cat, stock ITR cat back

versus

stock header, 2-1/4" Carsound cat, SMSP exhaust

What we didn't test was a JDM header/test pipe/stock cat back versus JDM header/test pipe/SMSP exhaust, but we were testing headers and not cat backs.
