Default Hondata Crank Sensor ??????'s

I need to know if I S300 on a 99 si without the crank fluctutation sensor. I got a B20/vtec now and my pump doesnt have the crank sensor mounting. Am I able to turn that sensor off and or does hondata even use this???Thanks

I'm pretty sure you will deff. need that sensor. I think thats how the rpm's are read and without that, i dont think it will even run. Don't hold me to it though.

Thats done by the use of the crank angle, TDC and cylinder position sensor which are all in the dist.
