Default Does a Triptronic auto tranny fit a "95 Accord?

My '95 accord is an automatic and i would like to keep it that way. I will be doing an H22 swap in the next couple weeks and would like to use the triptronic auto transmission out of an '01 prelude, buti know they are quite a bit larger. Will it fit directly into my accord or do these not swap in with the H22 as well?

So a manual conversion is the only way to do an H22 swap into it?????Sounds like i'll just be boosting my F-Series instead

No, just get an OBDI motor/tranny and swap that.

Or get an OBDII that doesn't have tiptronic.

It would be a JDM Motor

You're already OBDI why are you wanting to go to OBDII ?

Just get an OBDI automatic motor

Do research

Seriously

Look at any online motor place

Look at the Accord FAQ

Look at what other people have swapped

You're OBDI, they make OBDI h22's why you want a 97 + I have no idea

You can get an OBDI H22 w/ automatic trannys

Seriously there's some on ebay almost all the time

In Missouri?

I don't really see that happening haha.

Get a checking/debit card and use it as a visa.

Dude can't this guy use his auto tranny from his Accord which is probably an F22B non v-tec on a 91-94 Lude H22 engine with no problem?

you could use triptronic, but there are two problems, you're obd1 so you would have to convert it to obd2. Then you would have to spend hours upon hours wiring it, no one has done this so you're on your own.
It can be done, alot of the Stratus guys do it and it plugs up, but thats with the same chassis.
If you're not scared of wiring and diagrams go for it

Dont do it! Trust me! The Tiptronic Auto Tranny in the 97+ Preludes are TOTAL JUNK!! Do a little research. They have a design flaw, and when you put the power of a H22A on it, it dies at around 100k miles. I had a 98 Lude, and I felt like I was on borrowed time. I didn't want it to go out on me after reading all the horror stories. Then my shifting started getting worse at 135k miles. It was a shift solenoid. It fixed the problem, but I didn't want to be stuck with a dead Lude like countless other people with those Auto trannies.
