Default CRX To be bought

Quick questions;

I bumped into an old guy with a nice red CRX stock, auto(i dont mind), MINT condition. He has the rear panel rusts repaired; looks professionally done barely noticeable. He's going to offer to me in the spring/summer.
-Auto, 112K miles, and still doing 40+ mpg country roads + highways according to the guy.

How much should I offer him?
How can I tell what year it is?

The rear looks like this one:

This might get locked. No tech and breaks the rules. I'd pay no more than $2000 for a mint, clean, low mileage DX, which I assume it is.

And this is from the FAQ at the top of the page: Differences in CRX's

Threads that are not acceptable in main CRX/EF Civic Tech forum.
1. FS (For Sale)/WTB (Would Like To Buy or Where To Buy) or spamming ads in random posts
2. Bench Racing/Can I win a race against "car x"/What will my car do in the quarter mile
3. No Meet Posts without mod approval
4. "What should I sell my CRX/Civic for?" or "How much is my CRX/Civic worth?" or "Is this a good deal/price?"
5. "Which one is better EF or X car" or "EF> X car". Should I trade/sell/buy Car X for Car Y. "Would you buy this car?".
6. Negative comments/replies that do nothing but add post count and stir people up, swearing, swearing at each other or name calling, and no racial comments.
7. Threads with no technical information.
8. No bumping
9. Post whoring to make post count
10. Open Polls will be left open for the benefit of the original poster. If the open poll is abused and unwarranted selections are created those that created and voted for those selections will be addressed.

^^^^ Dud are you kidding me, you really when through all that?

Anyway, Yeah no more then 1500. You can tell what year it is by the front bumper, if it was never changed.

90-91 have the fog light holes.
88-89 have a flat front bumper

I think you can also look in the door.
Start at a 1000 and see what he says. I got mine with a B16 in it for a 1,000 but it needed a lot of work.

Pretty similar situation here. I picked up a 90 CRX Si with a B16 swap for $1200. It needed lots of TLC and was missing alot of little things but it's running great now. I have right around $600 into it (engine, exterior, and interior) and it runs like a champ.

Read the rules come on now. If you want to get it then get it. If not then don't. I'm tired of seeing this exact post.
