I have a 90 civic. It was running fine until yesterday. Lst night I tried to start it and when it did start it rattled and shaked and then died after about one minute. Put drygas in to get any water out of the lines. I am getting spark, I am getting fire, I am getting fuel..but I am totally lost. Help Please.

 

is your check egnien light on?if so what codes is your ecu flashing?u know if u got something caught in the fuel filter is will cause it to have low pressure and the motor wont start.

 

is it getting spark/fuel on all 4 cylinders? and are your plug wires on the right way?

 

So it wasn't running nicely at all? Check your timing. With the sudden onset and the age of your car, it sounds to me like your belt skipped a tooth or two
