Default D15b mated to a ZC tranny?

hey guys im in need of a tranny for my 88 std i cant find a legit one for a reasonable price. i have a friend that has a ZC tranny and is willing to give it to me so i wanted to know if its possible to use the tranny. i know mine is a 21 spline and the ZC is a 20 spline. i know the clutches need to be relplaced so will it work? thnx guys

yeah that tranny will work as long as you get the right clutch for that zc tranny...

if it is a true ZC transmission, it isn't going to work unless you get custom axles - the ZC transmission uses an intermediate axle shaft with larger axles like the Integra - your stock axles are too small to fit into the transmission - you would need axles with the smaller STD/HF CV joints on the outer end to fit the smaller STD hubs and the larger Integra type CV joints on the inner end to fit the transmission - you can't use an intermediate shaft with the D15 engine as the block has no place to bolt on the shaft
