hey guys/gals,

as the thread title states, girlfriend's got a 2000 V6 with a bad EGR valve. as of a couple hours ago, her car won't start and she needs some help... so consequently, so do i.

here's what i need to know:
+ location of EGR valve (diagram/picture would be nice, but not necessary)
+ what might be a good solution to getting the car running until she can take it to the shop? i was thinking of possibly temporarily disconnecting the plug.
+ finally, if the valve simply needs cleaning, has anyone done this before? tips?
