i bought a pair of very lightly used DC ones for my DA, when i put them on they bottomed out horribly unless i left about 2.5 inches of threads exposed in the front. i took them back off and noticed the springs were swithed the 8k were in the back and the 6k in the front. i reinstalled and its much better but still bottoms hard if i try to go any lower. my question is where would i go about getting stiffer springs and how stiff can i go without the valving being way outta wack? im thinking 10 or 11k in the front so i can slam it with out bottoming and putting the 8s in the rear again. any advice?? im ok with this "band-aid fix" cuz i really dont wanna buy new coils and i have no way to get more travel outta this setup.
