license plate mounting...
Probably a sutpid question and the picture should explain what I am asking about... lol

Do those caps pop off to mount the license plate? I bought the car with those and as you can see by the picture I have to zip tie the license plate to the front grill....

They are held in by a clip-- yes you can remove them.. Just use a thin flat edge screwdriver or a panel popper.
(Or remove your front bumper -- but that'll take a bit of time if you haven't done it before.)
Use painter's tape for the surrounding area so you don't scratch up your paint!

Yes. Those pop off and the plate is mounted there. You need 2 plastic insert pieces that pop into the bumper that will act as a stud for the hardware you use to mount the license plate.
I hope the previous owner didn't glue them in. I ended up doing this to my Civic because my first set got stolen. Glued my second set.
Sorry to thread jack but, does anybody know where i can get a set of these? I made my own JDM plate mount and need to cover up the stock holes.
