for some odd reason, my brake lights stay on when im not using them and the car is off, thus killing my battery. what do i need to fix it? ebrake light is stuck on too.

 

Ebrake light, check your brakd fluid level

Check to see if you have anything stuck between the brake pedal and brake pedal switch (to make the brake lights come on).

 

i think its the brake pedal switch is broken. my friend taped 5 pennies together and stuck it in there and it stopped. sux though becasue its just a temporary solultion (the stupid pennies fall out)

 

yeah could someone verify the actual fix for this if it is the brake light switch.... i bought a brake light switch from autozone an its not the same one thats on my car, so i came on here an saw tons of posts about how people just use a nut and a bolt to configure something... it would be helpful if anyone had some illustrations or something to better assist us with our barred out break lights...
