Somebody hit my car, have a question
So, as i am getting ready to come home from college this morning, i try to open my passenger door, only to discover that it would not open all the way. At first i thought it was because it was so cold, until i actually looked and saw a huge dent in my front fender, preventing me from opening the door. Now i have quite a collection of body parts leftover from the honda dealer, so that is not a problem. My question is this. I know the door needs to be opened to remove a few bolts that hold the fender on, but i cannot open the door all the way to reach them. I'm afraid that if i simply force the door open, i may damage the door. Anybody have any suggestions?
bang on the fender a bit to allow the door to open more? Thus allowing access to the bolts to remove the fender.
Might make a little more sense to remove the fender liner, then bang from the inside to move the damaged portion out of the way to allow the door to open.
good call, i would have spent more than 5 minutes on it today, but upstate ny weather isn't the greatest this time of year. thanks for the help
