crappy startup?
well a couple of days ago, getting out of work for my lunch break before getting on my second shift since i was working a double. get to my car, turns over just fine, but no start. cranks and cranks and cranks, no good. coil went out.
instead of picking up food, i literally run down to an advance auto parts and pick up a new coil, switch it out in the parking lot, and of course it starts right up the best and fastest it ever has.
days go by, and soon enough, it starts giving me the crappy start up it used to; to where it doesn't immediately start up, but takes a while (even with giving the fuel pump time to prime).
it seems as if some how, the coil is draining power or something, all grounds are good, so idk what would be doing this. of course, if i drive it around, turn it off and leave it for about half and hour or so, and turn it back on, it turns on fine. it only gives me the crappy start up basically after sitting for a while (like overnight or something).
any ideas?
TIA

Do you mean as soon as you turn the key over to start it nothing happens at all, or it just cranks over??
If nothing at all is happening when you turn the key on to start it.. i'd check the ignition switch

it just cranks over with no ignition. i'm guessing then it should probably be bad wires and plugs. i forgot the toll HPDE events will do
my fault for believing NGK iridiums would be better in the "longer-lasting" area. thanx gaise.
