2002 civic ex and gave me an error code p1298. anyone know what that is? where the sensor is located thanx

awsome.. ok, the tranny went out on it and its an automatic by the way..but it gave me that code p1298.. the car will not go into drive or reverse,.. so will the (ELD) have alot to do w/ it?

ELD failure means the alternator spiked and zapped something, and or the ECU took a ****.
