i have an 96 h22a swapped into my 94 civic, there appears to be a sensor on the back of the thermostat housing, but there is no female connection anywhere for it ... my question is, is there supposed to be a connection there or is it just plugging the hole in the back?

 

it's a thermoswitch to fire up your fans.
