Well I got a 99' civic ex stock. It started making a noise wich got louder and louder sounded like my wheel bearing, but I checked it and thats not it any idea on what could it be? My friend said it was my tranny, but I'm not sure on that since its it only sounds when the right wheel is spinning but not on the driver side wounldn't it sound on both sides? thanks in advance

well I took out da axle from da wheel bearing and turned the car on the axle was spinning but there was no noise any more so I think it is the wheel bearing. They told me that if the hub is messed up and replace the wheel bearing that the wheel bearing would get messed up again after like three months so took check the hub before replacing the wheel bearing. How would I know if the hub is bad? Oh and does a wheel have to have play in order for it to be the wheel bearing or could it just be noisy?

 

It was the whell bearing got it fixed for 60$....
