I know both type1 and type2 are 3.2 v6

I currently have a type 1 engine that is bad was wanting to buy the type 11 but will I be able to bolt on type 11 without any modifications?


like ecu are both obd1?
straight swap and same engine harness?

any input would be appreciated!!

i thought type 1 was OBD0

It might be feasible to swap the manifolds and electronics from your dead type 1 motor onto a new type II block.
