Type R Seats.
Wanted to ask the Type R people.... I have a 2000 R... seems the suede on the seats in starting to wear... passanger side is not to bad, however, driver side is starting to look bad... will Acura do anything about this under warranty????
When purchasing the car, I knew it would be a problem@!

You're wearing the suede out so fast because I see you timing yourself around the neighbourhood with your G-Tech pro. You will not hit the elusive 1.0G with your lowdowns. Haha.. JK

I have to agree with Edwin on this one. Lowdowns will never hit 1.0G. Try giving the G-Tech a good flick while in the corner and that might help you along.
Then give your seats a break!

I have a '98 and the seats are showroom. I don't think on a car that new you should have wear like that. I'd suggest taking it to the dealer, but like the other members said... you will have tough luck getting anything done about it.

Listen **** wipes.... I am not dragging my buttock in and out of the seats.... the fact is, suede is not a very durable material... the suede seems to be worn, not the fabric portion of the seats..
I guess I will try a steam clean at the local car detailer... if that doesn’t work... time to steal Edwin's seats.
