Proper way to center aftermarket exhaust.
Well it's getting pretty annoying at this point. I have the Greddy SP2, and it wants to pull to the left (if looking from the back of the car). Of course, I left all the flanges loose during assembly, and began to tighten every flange with someone holding it nice and center. After my friend let go, the exhaust wanted to pull to the left on every occassion. I tried everything I could. I even tightened the right side of the flange first to see if that would counter-act. No matter what, I can't get it center. It's not significantly off, but to me it's not perfect.
Anyone have any usueful tips/input or share the same problem?
Thanks guys,
Brandon

correct me if im wrong, but you mean the metal part, not the rubber right? because rubber will just go right back into form.
If you wanted to, you could run it over to a muffler shop and they will fix it for ya.
My greddy EVO2 exhaust doesnt line up either but i dont mind it being crooked. I just tell people its for that awesome JDM look!

Yea, its the metal hanger thats welded on the exhaust. They are metal rods with a bend at the end and a enlarged end so the rubber hanger doesn't slip off

Yeah, my friend is really good with welding. I guess I'll just have to do the old trial and error to get the hanger to center it just right. Thanks guys.
