Default Prove DC header legality in California?

How would I go about proving the legality of my DC header in order to pass the state referee. The Ref told me he couldn't find anything on them and that I would have to prove that its legal. Would my best bet be to call up the company? Anyone else have experience with this and know how to deal with it?

It should have a C.A.R.B "plate" attached to one of the exhaust ports... if it doesn't you are screwed. Either buy a new one or go with OEM.

This is what you're looking for

If you don't have one of those, you're screwed.

yup that's true, i even asked a chp officer about it and he said that the header has to have the carb plate welded onto the actual header. Having that sticker won't do any good, it's technically illegal. Must have the plate welded onto the header only option.

No.. I have the carb plate welded on. But the referee claims that he can't find the information he needs for it. Its bullshit, but I can't pass without this guy accepting it.

Did he see the stamp? Is he claiming it's forged? There should be a number... at the very worst, email DC support and see what the EO is.

I have DC header with the name welded on it but it is not a street legal header. If its a 2.5" collector it wont have it.
