Hi all,

I have 2002 Honda Accord SE 4cyl that stumbles (misfire) when the engine is completely cool (ie cold starts when warm or hot acts just fine) no check engine light only started acting up at 96k miles...This condition lasts like 7 seconds and then the engine catches itself...If I Press the gas pedal while attempting a cold start the car starts normally (without stumbling or missing) albeit at a higher rpm at start...Any info would be appreicated...Adro

 

Try this; turn the key on and wait 5 sec before cranking.
This allows for full fuel pressure at the injectors and a better spray pattern.

Original spark plugs?

 

Yes It is the original Spark plugs got 96k on 'em? guesssing its time to change them?

 

yes, change those plugs. don't buy anything fancy, just get the same plugs that you take out of it, they're work just fine.
