When changing my oil today it seemed weird to see tranny fluid coming out from my passenger axle and it wasn't flush against the tranny....

i'll put a picture up later but i was wondering it this can be caused by an overtightened axle nut or a bad seal?
my mechanic was the last one to touch it so idk....

 

im 95% sure if you replace a seal you will solve your problem. how old are they?? usually they last as long as each axle you replace....unless they get poked or hit with something.

 

is the seal on the axle or inside the tranny itself?
