I am just wanting to see if anybody has done this, and if so what was the out come? good or bad?

I had this setup on my DA. It's a really nice setup, it's decently quick as well.

yes and good for the most part i ran into a snag but that was my own fault. you wont have any problems

It's shorter than the LS transmission obviously.

In my DA, i was at about 3500 rpm going 65ish? Can't remember, it's been years since I had that car.

I wouldn't be too worried about it though. You'll enjoy it.

anything buy an LS trans is a good match for an LS engine. if you feel youre running to high of an RPM on this freeway you could always swap out the 5th gear

If you want to get the most mpg out of the motor then you want to go with an LS trans. The longer gears really help out at higher speeds. I let my buddy run my B16 trans in his GSR and he was taching about 4-4.5 @ about 75mph or so.

I could have sworn the B16 is @ 4.5 @ 75mph, the GSR is @ 4 @ 75mph, and the LS I am not sure.

The GS-R transmission is 4k rpm at 80mph, not 75.
