H23s are great for boost. Stock lower compression than H22, and with the turbo improving the higher end power its perfect for the h23 which has really good low end power. Thus, in my opinion making a turboed h23 a good combo.

I wouldn't do it with 160000 miles though.

Age/mileage doesn't matter. If the compression/health of the motor shows good than he could do a mild boost without too much worries. Just tune it and he would be fine for a while.

1 year 2 months and 5 days is how long it will last.... are you serious? Are you really expecting him to tell you how long it will last? there are people who have lasted 1 week and some that have lasted over 3 years on stock block.

yeah I am really expecting him to predict the exact time. I really don't give a fuc how long it lasts. Just saying it does not sound like a good idea to me. Oh , not saying I hope your motor blows either man. Just be careful, alot of people will tell you what you want to hear when it come to power adders. I believe nirVTEC said it best, if you cannot afford a back up motor..........

A good tune, proper build, and maintenance will go a long way.
