Default H-T: Damage Estimate

=

So, on my way to work this morning, I got into a little accident on the way to work. Rear ended a Matrix on an onramp going about 15-25 mph. Seeing if I can get help on what total damages are.

Please no negative comments.

What it looked like:

Damages (sorry for bad pix, crappy work digi cam):

Depending on what you want to do with it now, only a few hundred. The hood is fixable and repaintable. New headlight since the tabs are broken, new grille and some reworking to get parts to fit. Definitely not going to break the bank.

It looks like he needs a new radiator support welded in too, though. Maybe I'm seeing it wrong?

rad support off ebay: $100
Hood (used): $50
Headlight (if you want to replace it): $50 (used)
Front Bumper: $125
Paint: $200

Total: $525
Check from insurance well over $1000 probably

possibly, it's kind of hard to tell. But the rad support doesn't look creased or too banged up. I think it could be pulled and straightened out? Good luck!

Not to sure about the radiator support. I might try to take a come-a-long to it and see if that will bring it back.

Ouch.

Doesn't seem too bad from what I see. As long as the radiator support isn't too banged up.

it all depends on what you want to do. do you want to go a cheaper route? or do you want to do it right?

you could do a jdm front end on it that includes the radiator support for just a few hundred dollars. or you can order it all piece by piece and it end up costing alot more money.

thanks for all the suggestions. I will take it apart this weekend and really check out the damage. The "T" section does not look damaged at all, but I will find out for sure. thanks again.

not bad at all, you can do it all yourself and it will run you with paint about $500-$600.

good time to upgrade to a CF hood
