probably a few pounds less.

Remember, rails also add ~8-10lbs to that weight. So, you're looking at around 35-40lbs with your setup.

I believe US ITR seats weigh in with rails at around 35-40 lbs.

so you think that some recaros or sparcos with rails will weigh approximately the same as the stock fronts with rails?

Yup, it'll be roughly the same weight (if you're thinking reclinable Recaro or Sparco seats). I woudlnt' even sweat the weight difference... unless you are going with bucket seats which should weigh good 10 lbs less than USDM ITR reclinable seats.

The stock seats are 30lbs each without rails - probably 35 - 40 lbs with rails.

For reference, Recaro SRDs with Wedge brackets weight about the same.

Sparco Evos are under 15 lbs each; rails with sliders are 10 lbs or so.

Unless you are going with a non reclinable bucket seat, you will not save muchweight over the stock seats.
