Default buddyclub spec III

I was wondering if the buddyclub spec III catback exhaust for 97-01 type-r will be a direct bolt-on to a 01 gsr without any modding??

BC spec III catback is JDM length, meaning the bpipe is ~5 inches longer that usdm setups

you will have to get a JDM length cat that ~12 inches long

or

you can cut 5 inches off the bpipe if you want to used your 17inch usdm cat

but then he would loose the flange and if he cuts the other end he would loose the slip fit joint.

Basically he needs a proper ftting cat or test pipe or don't use.

Well i thought i had a jdm length cat, but i don't so i ended up chopping off 3 to 4 inches because cutting a rewelding was free to me. I haven't had a problem since. The slip fit is still good as well. If it wasn't for Rob i don't think i would have gotten this exhaust.

What Happened to those Bad *** pics you had. The flame is coming out of the exhaust was cool to me. That caught my attention, but I notice the angle the exhaust had the drew me in more. I ask you about the Vibration from the springs on the exhaust, and you helped me out by sending me a link to get these..........

bad
