I have two mechanical gauges that I want to install (water temp, and oil press). To what do I connect the water temp sensor to? (what part of the block?) And how about for the oil press? Please post pictures to help specify. Thanks.....

it really depends on what type of pick up/sensor you have with your gauges

1) oil pressure can be tee off from the oil pressure sensor port(not with brass tee), or via a sandwich filter adaptor. The first route will be cheaper but more work under the car.

2) coolant temp sensor usually are pair with a "water neck" which are meant to slick into the upper/hot coolant hose. ebay got a bunch of anodized knock off, just get one with the right fitting
