would it be better for my car performance wise to replace the d16z6 tranny with a y8 tranny? and if not, what would be some suggestions on a better tranny to use?

and as you may realize, i am just starting to get into honda's and modding them, though i made the mistake of buying an already modded car, which ended up to screw me royally in the end, but any help would be much appreciated, and just keep an eye out for my posts, because guaranteed i'm going to need a lot of help and i respect constructive critisicm thx
