Default having drivetrain issues

okay so i ran into few more problems with my car not moving... first i thought it was the clutch but when i pulled it out it still lookd good but i went and changed it anyway... i replaced the clutch, pressure plate, and the release bearing... i had the car on jack stands and i had everything put together, went to start the car and seen that the wheels were spinning as they were suppose to and so i dropped it down and was going to take it for a test drive.. i threw it in gear stepped on the gas and released the clutch and the car moves just a little bit and then it doesn't move at all it like something popped out of place...and so i jacked the car up again and started it and the wheels weren't spinning no more.. i have no idea what is wrongg.. i need your advice

they are in but is there suppose to be something holding the driver side axle? or does it just go straight out of the transmission to the rotor?
