check with the seller bro, I am not here to [freak] his sale up. He has a very thorough setup and maybe the ones I was looking at was missing what it needed to work. Dont take my word on it. Pm the seller

i had this setup in my em1 coupe for 1 year, it worked great and the cd also worked with it!!!!!!!!!!!1

Sorry to call you on on this, but don't want to see people mislead. What you just stated does NOT happen. Of course, if I'm wrong you could post pics or get someone else to back up that claim, but I have owned that system for 8 years and have a lot of experience with it.

ok well, ive worked for the honda dealer for 7 years now. the unit has been modifyed to work with the us maps, and works great. thanks for calling me on it but your mistaken. anyone who has worked at honda knows about the diag machine we use.

Originally you said, it connects to a satellite and downloads the maps, but now your saying the unit has been modified to work with the US maps. Which is it? The software disk is what controls the maps the system has access too. It's not the physical hardware itself that dictates these maps. Did you also know this is a gyro based GPS system and its gyro sensor is what senses movement and direction of the vehicle. It has NO connection to any satellite. Honda only made the RED DISK in the Asian market because that is the ONLY market where the Navigation system was an option in the 97 and 98 Civic. Furthermore the RED DISK is CD based, and the first US Market Navi system was in the first Oddesey. That was a DVD based system, so there is NOTHING plugging the dealership diag machine will help you with.
