i've been thinking about putting a rear lip on my car for some time now. problem is my exhaust is already like a 1/8 inch from my bumper. i know people are gonna tell me to put extra exhaust hangers on it, but it already has some in the middle of the exhaust so putting more of the end would make it shoot towards the ground. any suggestions?

so if you don't want it to shoot at the ground, why not lengthen more hangers to prevent that from happening?

 

changing the height of an exhaust isn't rocket science.

either take it to a shop and have longer hangers welded in place, or possibly see if you can bend the stock locations to give you added clearance.

i think your front lip is kinda goofy.

y dont u just go to a shop and have them fix it to make the pipe shoot out strate, my friend did that when he put on his lip... just take the lip with u at the shop

 

thats what i was thinking too, to lower all the hangers, but as you can see i am not very low but it is low enough to hit speed bumps, i can hear the oil pan and the exhaust scratching. oh and i know the lip aint the greatest but for $80 show me a better one.

 

Go over speed bumps sideways silly. lol

 

your going to either:
A melt the lip
B. scrape the **** out of your exhaust/piping if you lower the hangers.
