Default Dc5 or Ep3

I looking for a new car but im not sure which car to get. Im looking at for rsx type s, but i could only afford a salvage one and i still need to go to the auction with my friend. Ive been looking for one for about 4 months yet none has popped up. it would be around 9-10k done. I found ep3 02 clean title with 88k with :DCRH .Injen Cold Air Intake.DC Twin Canister (no longer made--rare!). Sun Auto Ground.KW V.2 .Tanabe Rear Sway.Neuspeed Front Anti-stress .Progress Rear Tie.Ingalls Camber Kit. its listed for 11k. im not sure if its worth it or not. and im not sure if the dude races the motor out and the car would give out on me. he says that its adult driven, but yet he has all these motor bolt ons.

While most folks will tell you to go with the RSX, I say go with the ep3.

RSX's are very common, while a nicely modded ep3 stands out.

ep3 insurance is cheaper.

Being a Type S, you KNOW it was driven hard.

Just my input....

I own an RSX and I say go with the EP3 in your situation. I also love that car because no one else does.

...But if you are looking for a cheap RSX I have a Type S for 12.5K and would be willing to negotiate slightly on the price!

I'm still laughing out loud on that one. Unless you have some mechanical knowledge I wouldn't suggest getting a salvage titled car. Definately save up for a clean titled type s. $10K FOR A SALVAGE TITLE IS NOT A GOOD DEAL. $5-6k for it would be.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by VegaS10 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

It's your decision, get whatever one you like better.

In this case I would go with the ep3 because it seems like the better buy
A salvage title for 10k is pretty high

My friend had an 05' ep3 with a few mods and it was pretty nice
He traded it in for an 04' rsx type s(few mods) and it is an upgrade in my opinion

However, when money is an issue I would go with the ep3 in this case

I voted for EP3 simply because I don't see any of them in the streets.

Its kinda sounding like the DC5 drivers are jealous the way you are all talkin about the ep3's! So what they look like an egg, or a minivan, atleast it doesn't look girly. But who really cares, they're both products of honda motor co. Can't we all just be glad noone is braggin about V8s in here????

I have an ep3 and love it for what it is, a civic. It is rare on the road, good on gas, tons of interior room, and the cool shifter.

But the RSX type S is a better car in the technical aspect. Every thing the EP3 has, the DC5 has and more. The ep3 was never meant to compete with the DC5, thats why its so slow.

Ep3 owners, dont get offended when people say our cars look like mini vans or eggs...... cause its true. But i love my car for it, i guess.

heres some pics just because

I've always owned hondas and I worked at a honda dealer and a acura dealer and I too own a ep3. I would go with the type s just because of the a2. and maybe that the shifter is in the center console, not that it was a big adjustment from console to dash. If you want to be unique go with the ep3 but if you want a good starting point to build up a m3 killer go with the type s.

Girly? We must be confusing it with another car...

If 200hp is girly, then what is 155hp??
