you have to have had made 3k and up. if they took less than 600 from you you will not get 600. if you only got 350 withheld from your federal tax all you will get is 350. but if you made atleast 3k you will get a minumum of 300.

checks will be mailed out may through late summer. You can only receive the check if you file. If you have already filled you need to do nothing else it will show up to the address that your s.s. is.

It's a rebate check which means you may have to claim it on your 08 taxes....as earned income. (not exaclty sure on that but I think so) gov doesn't give anything for free.
